The fleshy plum tomato can be cultivated in greenhouses or sheltered outdoor areas. Atyliade plum tomatoes are indeterminate tomatoes, also known as cordon tomatoes or vine tomatoes.
This tasty plum tomato variety grows as indeterminate tomatoes, also known as cordon tomatoes or vine tomatoes. This means they will continue to extend in length throughout the growing season, giving you a slow and steady supply of tomatoes, rather than one large harvest. In other words, Atyliade tomatoes will give you a great harvest of fleshy, plum shaped tomatoes. The tasty plum tomatoes can be enjoyed in many ways, such as in salads or pasta dishes.
The seeds are preferably grown in greenhouses, or outdoors in sheltered areas, in nutrient-rich and well-drained soil. To succeed with your cultivation it is important that you water and fertilise regularly. As the tomato plants grow bigger, they will need support. Also, lightly shake the buds for better fruiting.

You can pre-cultivate your seeds 8-10 weeks before re-planting outdoors. Besides keeping the soil moist, it is important to provide your cultivation with additional lighting during the darker months of the year. To keep the soil moist you can cover it with plastic or use a mini greenhouse, where the temperature should be around +18-21°C. Once the seeds start to germinate, it is time to move the cultivation to a brighter and cooler area. When the plants have grown big enough to be handled, each plant can be transplanted to a pot of fertilised soil. Transplant your plants gradually and replant them outdoors when the night temperature is +8°C at the lowest.
